Since I have become enthralled in "The Secret," my life has changed dramatically... I am conscious of my thoughts... I try not to complain... I understand that by complaining the universe will continue to give me things to complain about... I understand the power of my thoughts... Positive thoughts become positive "things" in my life... If I think I won't find a parking spot, then I won't... When I visualize the parking spot, it's there... When I think I'll never make it on time, I won't... but by changing that thought to I have plenty of time, I make it on time.. We all know that what we put out comes back to us but we tend to forget that our thoughts have power... I don't say I have no money or I can't afford things because I understand that I won't have any money and won't be able to afford things... Every day I say, "I'm a money magnet! Money comes to me easily and unexpectedly!" Truthfully, every week for the past two weeks, I've received checks in the mail or money from an unknown source... Everyone should try "The Secret!" It will change your world.. I am the happiest I've been in a very long time!!!

Sounds like a great (life-changing) book. The Bible says, "life and death are in the power of the tongue." It's ironic that I am reading your blog on THIS day, because after school, today, I blasted (you know the person so I won't reveal the name) someone for saying something totally negative about something that hasn't happen and won't happen. What that person said was in reference to the Va. Tech tragedy. I can't believe that people are already making jokes and comparing that awful, horrendous occurrence with other things that are not remotely related. And even if they were, why spread negativity. If you notice, I'm haven't revealed what was actually said. I will not be party to the negativity.
So yes! We need to surround ourselves with positive people and our minds with positive thoughts. One of my daily prayers is: "Lord, keep my mind stayed on those things that are true, honest, pure and lovely. Help me to think on those things that have virtue and are of good report."Phillipians 4:8

How inspiring. Do you know that Attitudes are contageious? Well they are. As we have studied in our course, people network based on interest and people they admire. We are watched everyday, We have secret admirers and don't even know it. Youtube demonstrates that we have the power as we manipulate the computer. However, we have the power that comes from within, that can mold and influence the mindset of many. How perfect it is to be one with a positive attitude. One that looks at life as a cup that is half full, rather than half empty. One that has enough patience to make the best of a situation, making lemonade out of lemons and most importantly, letting go and letting God! That's the best secret I heard all day thanks!
